Elite Rooftop Vacuuming Service offers the removal of ballast quicker and more efficient compared to doing it by hand. Our Hurricane Vacuum has a turbo-charged diesel engine that can vacuum 1,000 feet away and over 150 squares a day. Our services include:

Removal of Pea Gravel/River Rock

This process is our most frequent procedure usually for river rock or pea gravel. This allows the roof to be overlaid with a new roof system.

Double Vacuum and Sweep

This is a multistep process consisting of a vacuum pass, sweep with a power broom, and a final vacuum pass. A double vac. and sweep is recommended for roofs that are getting a foam, silicone coating, or adhesive roof.

Spudding Roof and Vacuum

Similar to the double vac. and sweep this technique is a multistep process. This process is suggested when there is a substantial amount of imbedded gravel, usually stuck with tar, on the roof.

Spudding the roof is also a multistep process. In between the two vacuum passes there is a spudding process that allows the complete extraction of the glued gravel. Once the gravel has been liberated, the final vacuum pass will leave the finished roof with a smooth working surface for any type of roof installation.
